Hello everyone! This is my 6th year at Santa Maria High School. I am looking forward to an extraordinary year of learning at SMHS!

I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology from San Diego State University and a Master’s degree in Educational Counseling from The University of La Verne.

My previous work experience includes being an instructional assistant for Santa Maria Bonita School District’s Migrant Program, substitute teaching at the elementary, junior high, and high School level. In addition, I was the Outreach Consultant at Arellanes Junior High School for three years.

I enjoy working at SMHS because we have an ambitious counseling team, wonderful staff, and the students are amazing!

I am looking forward to meeting you all. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

You can reach me at 805-925-2567 ext. 3742 or by email Belopez@smjuhsd.org
